Diamond Sutra quote
"someone might fill innumerable worlds with the seven treasures and give all away in gifts of alms, but if any good man or any good woman awakens the thought of Enlightenment and takes even only four lines from this Discourse, reciting, using, receiving, retaining and spreading them abroad and explaining them for the benefit of others, it will be far more meritorious.
Now in what manner may he explain them to others? By detachment from appearances - abiding in Real Truth. - So I tell you - Thus shall ye think of all this fleeting world: A star at dawn, a bubble in a stream; A flash of lightning in a summer cloud, A flickering lamp, a phantom, and a dream."
Diamond Sutra 32 - Perfection of Wisdom-prajnaparimita

By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. But when you try and try. The world is beyond the winning.

"The greed of gain has no time or limit to its capaciousness. Its one object is to produce and consume. It has pity neither for beautiful nature nor for living human beings. It is ruthlessly ready without a moment’s hesitation to crush beauty and life out of them, molding them into money."

1 John 3:19-20
By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything.

Oh boy I better not stay in this thread for long, lest I upset the peace and be banished...
Matthew 12:26
If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? 27And if I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your people drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 28But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.
29“Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man’s house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can rob his house.

Lao is trying to show you the balance. Jesus speaks about this with the narrow path. You must balance all knowledge. If you sway to one side more then the other it compensates. Ego is just yourself. Your gift of body. Do not forsake your mind because you are in confusion. Gods plan is very simple. The simplicity is the reason for so much confusion. We think and think to evolve scientist and believe this stuff is complicated. This is a causal root of the dramatic corruption taking hold of our reality. Then there is the other polar extreme of not thinking and checking out. God is like a lever moving huge blocks of stone. The weight can seem overwhelming but if you find its balance a child could move it.

The self forgets itself
by Kabir
English version by Linda Hess and Shukdeo Singh
Original Language Hindi
The self forgets itself
as a frantic dog in a glass temple
barks himself to death;
as a lion, seeing a form in the well,
leaps on the image;
as a rutting elephant sticks his tusk
in a crystal boulder.
The monkey has his fistful of sweets
and won't let go. So
from house to house
he gibbers.
Kabir says, parrot-on-a-pole:
who has caught you?

“Simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.
Simple in actions and thoughts, you return to the source of being.
Patient with both friends and enemies,
you accord with the way things are.
Compassionate toward yourself,
you reconcile all beings in the world.”
― Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching
