    Television & Children
Is is possible for “educational” technology to inappropriately stimulate and harm the developing brain? “...this is important because we're technologizing childhood today in a way that is previously unprecedented.” Forty years ago, children began watching some television at age four (like calm speaking Mr. Rogers); now they start as infants with the rapid, high stimulation (like Baby Einstein and Powerpuff Girls).

Does modern TV precondition the mind to expect high levels of stimulation which leads to inattention and developmental problems later on? What happened to mice who were exposed to modern television for six hours a day for 42 days?

The humorous Dimitri Christakis details his private research in the TED talk below.

I read in survey somewhere that 8 out of ten mice preferred Dallas to Dynasty. Flat screen TV sets were also viewed as sinister mind controlling devices by the mice.

    Long time no see Uberlord.

    Cunning little buggers mice.....

Seriously, the TV affects all who watch, the brain develops and changes its wiring to suit what it is put to, like a muscle, however if you have no memory of how things were before you will most likely never question any of this.

With the evergrowing use of NLP & similar techniques in the MSM, it is getting worse at an alarming rate. At the BBC I believe they are called "Nudge Units", the teams that control the propaganda and mind control they call news & entertainment
