    Hey folk..

I have a couple of weeks of internet again....and a relatively new computer. My last computer died with all my music on it and I am looking to replace as much as I can. Most of what I want I already have from various sources, including back ups and friend's collections.

I am looking to find 'human voice' music... John Martyn's voice was a wonder as he got older, a wonderful instrument..

I am not going to post too much in this first post, due to lack of time... but here's a couple of tracks off the top of my head...

what else should be listening to for inspirational human voice music?

Thanks in advance for any replies, I may not be online much but will check in as often as i can..

Song of the New Earth is new feature documentary about the life and work of Tom Kenyon and his quest
to integrate modern science and ancient mysticism through sound. Song of the New Earth presents not only
Tom Kenyon’s extraordinary journey but also an unforgettable aural experience.

Thank you, Vidya Moksha, for sharing these songs. I like the wingmakers vibration and style
of presentation. Pink Floyd's great Gig in the Sky is an amazing composition, reminding me of
the days and nights gone by when I lived as a hippy flower Cool flower

Finding Tom Kenyon's presentation of sounds, online, I remembered having several mp3 audiofiles
and I-tunes files, taken from some of my CD's. Some mp3 recordings are with my voice, reading old
English bedtime stories for children and never-ever-growing-up-adults. Until now I haven't found a
way to post them here. Alice in Wonderland is also one of the readings I'd like to share with my voice.
    Any suggestions?

Thank you, Vidya Moksha, I'll try that, your suggestion reminded me of the fact
that I've downloaded mp3 audio youtube for that purpose. I forgot about it entirely Blink
I can't open the tubby you've posted before Sleep is that due to restriction in certain
locations on the globe? I myself believe in a round globe, so that the atmosphere, with sounds,
can envelope the physical Earth as an aura does around a living body.

I remember your question about that layer around the Earth, its condition of keeping in form(ed).
I've learned it's by some kind of protective shield, placed around all that. And that this layer of
an Earthly atmosphere, is a protection, a shield, ensuring our place and presence on that gameboard of life.

Hello seekers of the light. This is a song I learned in Sunday School over 60 years ago.  It's a simple message that the great creator wants us all to hear.

I think Howard Shore's composition for the Lord of the Rings movies comes close to what I was looking for in this thread.. (and some of Carl Orff's work)

I have to confess that of all the music that I love, folk music was and is the best of all.  Sit back and listen to Peter, Paul, and Mary " Tramp on the Street". It's a classic.

If you have never listened to  Elvis, here's your opportunity. He was known as the first King of Rock and Roll.  However, this song is from one of his lesser-known albums. It has been reported that after a number of his Rock and Roll concerts, he would gather a crowd and sing gospel music. That's what this song is Elvis singing the Gospel song "Take my Hand Precious Lord"

Here's a tribute song to John Robert Lewis who was buried today.

It's sung by the one and only, the new Queen of Soul...  Mavis Staples
Your ears and heart are going to enjoy this.  Love it.

They say the best things come in 3's. Well here's a third. Love and Trust.
