ImageI quickly wanted to share what has come through during my morning contemplative sitting.

I was reminded that being grounded and remaining in a balanced state is extremely important now. If one is not living in a balanced, harmonious and loving space within, in other words embodying love and light, how else can one expect to spread love and light?

Spreading love and light is not about overuse of the head, it is not about the illusion that by reading about love and light a permanent inner balance and love will come about into one’s life.

Go out in nature, in the sun, spend time with loved ones, feel the connection with Gaia, with Higher Self, and be with what is every step of the way.

When we live in the Here and Now, all is possible. Future and past is repaired and creation comes into play!

The strength and intensity of the divine field of Love enveloping you continues to increase as more of you set your intent to accept its embrace, meld with it, and share its benefits as widely as you can.

One of the most effective ways for you to do this is to focus on remembering that another’s attacking or defensive behaviors and attitudes are in fact calls for love and acceptance, calls to which they themselves are most unlikely to be able to respond.

Therefore, respond lovingly and compassionately — albeit silently if necessary — to that call for help. And then offer love to yourselves in honor of the love that you have just shared.

Your various cultures worldwide have all encouraged the dishonoring of children who do not, will not, or cannot conform to the cultural norms that are being imposed upon them.

Cultural norms are very useful as a means of offering behavioral guidance so that people can interact satisfactorily and harmoniously, but too often they become rigid and inflexible rules. These crush the creative spirit that would assist your spiritual evolution by withholding love, affection, and approval from the little ones until they conform.

The result is that children grow up feeling unworthy and unacceptable, and then, as adults, they are for the rest of their human lives constantly expecting to be negatively judged.

That anxious expectation drains their energy and their natural spontaneity and joy. Life should be joyful, and to prevent or restrict it by imposing inflexible rules and standards is very damaging, and causes children to grow up seeking outside approval for their very existence. The joy of life, of existence is a God-given gift to which every sentient being is divinely entitled.

Within the illusion great efforts have been expended over the eons to crush that spontaneous sense of joy by offering only occasional grudging approval to children when their behavior is sufficiently servile, and at other times judging and punishing them for their God-given spontaneity. Much of the suffering that humanity has experienced can be traced back to this strange custom.

Over the last six or seven decades an awareness has been growing that there are far better ways to assist children in their journey from infancy to adulthood, and the results are now showing in the younger generations of adults all across the world. New ideas are pouring forth, leading to far more enlightened ways of addressing and dealing with the issues facing children as they make that journey.

Children who are accepted rather than judged grow into compassionate adults, and a new generation is now making its presence felt and demonstrating love and compassion in action. This generation is far more easily able to open its heart to the divine energies surrounding you, it responds appropriately to them by melding with them, and then sharing the joy, the hope, the wisdom, and the enthusiasm with which they are inspired.

The older members of the human family have been busy preparing for this time in your spiritual evolution so that this new, younger generation can put into effect the harmonious and cooperative ideas and plans that will bring lasting peace to you all. It has been a very tough journey for many of you, but the rewards for your efforts are now being seen worldwide as help is offered and is forthcoming where it is needed to assist the down-trodden and the impoverished to establish a meaningful and fulfilling existence where before it seemed that there was no hope for them at all.

This new wave of concern and compassion for humanity, all life, and the planet herself is creating a very inspiring and powerful stream of energy that is enabling the vast changes that are essential in the way you relate to one another and to your environment to be put into action.

A new age is being born into an environment that will support it, as the old energies of fear and conflict are being dispelled by the loving energies that you are all creating anew as you align yourselves with the Will of your Father.

You all know this, but when you get drawn into the conflicts that can arise around you during your daily lives it is very easy to forget and even seriously doubt your knowledge. You may then allow yourselves to see problems and issues as insoluble or as something that you, personally, cannot influence, and you sink into doubt and anxiety. Do not let this happen to you.

You have an abundance of help available from the spiritual realms, so avail of it by asking for it and expecting to receive it. Your personal quiet times for prayer and meditation are essential tools to enable you to engage with what is constantly on offer.

You are changing the world, one soul at a time. That may not sound like much, but because so many of you are doing it you are progressing like a wind-driven forest fire, and nothing can prevent the Love that that fire is bearing from engulfing all of humanity.

Titled an “Executive Order from the President regarding Authorizing the Implementation of Certain Sanctions…” the order says that if an individual is declared by the president, the secretary of state, or the secretary of the treasury to be a “sanctioned person,” he (or she) will be unable to obtain access to his accounts, will be unable to process any loans (or make them), or move them to any other financial institution inside or outside the United States. In other words, his financial resources will have successfully been completely frozen. The EO expands its authority by making him unable to use any third party such as “a partnership, association, trust, joint venture, corporation, subgroup or other organization” that might wish to help him or allow him to obtain access to his funds.

And if the individual so “sanctioned” decides that the ruling is unfair, he isn't allowed to sue. In two words, the individual has successfully been robbed blind.

But it’s all very legal. U.S.reverses stance on treaty to regulate arms trade

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto.

The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush’s administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better.

On Wednesday Obama Took the First Major Step in a Plan to Ban All Firearms in the United States . The Obama administration intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the United Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms.

The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of gun control that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what has happened. Obama can appear before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (in the United States) that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and foreign gun control laws. Does that mean Obama is telling the truth? What it means is that there will be no publicized gun control debates in the media or votes in Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammu nition manufacturers from selling to the public. We will wake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment.

This is not a joke nor a false warning. As sure as government health care will be forced on us by the Obama administration through whatever means necessary, so will gun control.

In a sense, Barack Obama’s karmic contract was to be a catalyst for hope. Hope only works in the individuals who choose to carry it or act on it. The effects of his catalytic process were most outwardly apparent in the ways that people were activated to vote or to make changes in their communities. But the greatest actual effects occurred within people’s minds and hearts. The massive shift toward hope and empowerment cannot be measured but rest assured, the world is a more peaceful place and more people have moved forward in enlightenment based on the role he has played. Once Barack Obama entered the presidency, his role as a catalyst has been somewhat diminished because people have a tendency to cease their own empowerment when they turn to a powerful leader. This occurs because people, through the dynamics of oppression, have learned to turn their own authority over to their leaders. People in nearly every culture on the planet have learned to wait for their leaders to take decisive action, and in waiting each individual forfeits their own power to affect change.

Citizens in the U.S. have exhibited a tendency to imagine that once Barack Obama was in an official leadership position that he would take care of things. When you wait for your leaders to instruct you, or you sit back and blame others for their missteps, you lose track of your own power, and it becomes easy to lose faith in your own ability to create positive change in the world around you.

Remember that all of you have been oppressed in one way or another. It is not your fault that you have been oppressed, but it is your responsibility to actively choose to reassign your personal authority to yourself, to re-determine and revitalize yourselves to make positive changes in the world around you. This reclaiming of your personal power, and it’s collective potential, ultimately is the process that Barack Obama was meant to catalyze. His calling is to inspire all the citizens in the world into action. He will not make the world a better place through his actions; instead, he inspires all of you to make the world a better place.

As long as each of you is taking responsibility and doing what you can to improve the world within your sphere of influence, then you are using him positively as a catalyst. If people do not use his leadership role to further inspire and empower themselves into action, then the usefulness of his role will expire. It will no longer be useful for him to be in the role of a world leader officially if the role of catalyst is not being fulfilled. It is vitally important that all of you continue to remember that he is not here to make change, he is here to inspire you to make change. Here in the spiritual realms — at the level of consciousness that prevails outside your illusory realm — we continue to assist you in your awakening process, constantly. And I confirm that your awakening is divinely assured. Release your doubts about it and focus on your powerful inner knowing that this is so. Your long journey home is almost completed and a grand welcome awaits you. Until you arrive, maintain your course positively and lovingly, knowing that your arrival is imminent.

Life as way-showers and Light-holders is difficult because it seems that so few members of humanity are interested in the spiritual path that all, without exception, are following. Consequently, you often feel very alone. Nevertheless, every human is a spiritual being having a bodily experience, and that body, while essential for the journey, is very distracting because it appears to have so many needs that require instant attention. If you do not take time out daily — alone with yourself, in contemplation, meditation, or prayer — you cannot find any peace, and your life easily becomes a constant and seemingly never-ending rush to accomplish repetitive tasks that offer very little satisfaction. It becomes very grueling and wears you down. Joy and fun depart, to be replaced by reams of unrewarding chores that you are convinced you must complete.

Without some form of spiritual practice it is extremely difficult to cope with the strains and stresses that a human life seems to impose upon you. Because of your state of separation from one another, each of you has a very different perception of life’s meaning, and consequently you often observe others coping far better with its problems than you. But that is just your own personal perception, because in fact everyone experiences that same weird sense that others are coping better, are less stressed, and are getting more satisfaction from life than they are.

However, those who establish a spiritual practice – not necessarily a religious one – by taking time out quietly and alone each day do find themselves far less stressed than those who do not. Everyone needs to do this, and more of you are realizing this, taking the time, making the effort, and experiencing the reduced stress and increased peace that this provides. And having and maintaining a spiritual practice is part of the life path that every human has chosen to live. However, many do not become aware of that and remain totally captivated by the illusion and all its distractions, whether alluring or fearful, and they fail to establish this stabilizing and essential practice.

Way-showers and Light-holders, by their emotional stability and by their less judgmental way of relating to others, provide a demonstration of the value and benefits of maintaining a spiritual practice, which is really nothing more than establishing a relationship with your own deep presence. Mostly people are ruled by their egos and their emotions which rush about on the surface of their consciousness, disturbing the peace beneath. But when they find awareness of that deep inner presence rising into their consciousness, questions start to form in their minds about the sanity of the lives they have been living.

However, initially that seems only to create further stress and anxiety because it suggests that how they have been living has been without meaning or value. It is at these times in their lives that they start looking for someone with whom they can discuss these worrying realizations, and that is when the way-showers and Light-holders can be so helpful. Not by offering solutions or advice, but by listening very attentively as these anguished souls express their concerns, and in so doing, find that they already have the answers. They often have to do a lot of talking in order to uncover their hidden depths, and this demands great patience and restraint from their listeners.

As listeners you have a very holy vocation which can be quite demanding for you, because you too are living with the stresses and anxieties of the illusion pressing down on you in your daily lives, and so you too need to find and maintain your own balance, your own place of inner peace. Ask for help! Your guides and angels are always there with an intense willingness and desire to help you find peace, and they fully understand and respect the wonderful work you are doing by being compassionate and willing listeners.

Today, and every day, cherish those quiet times or moments, because they bring you the spiritual stability and strength to follow your paths and effectively assist all those who are seeking an inner meaning, a higher truth by which to live and relate to others and to the planet. You are doing great work even though you hardly ever get any real sense of it. This is because the vast proportion of it is done on inner or spiritual levels. When you feel at peace, satisfied that you are doing a reasonable job, that means that you are feeling the presence of those in the spiritual realms who are with you constantly to help you on your way.

When you do not feel that sense of peace and satisfaction, a deep faith that all is divinely taken care of and proceeding just as it should, it is a sign that you need to reconnect with that quiet space within because you have spent too long away from it. Allow yourselves the time and the space that you need to rejuvenate yourselves spiritually even when it means that you have to refuse to be available to others for a while. You owe it to yourselves and to them, because it empowers and fortifies your effectiveness in the tasks that you chose to undertake by incarnating at this point in humanity’s spiritual evolution: a period of immeasurable significance in the ongoing divine plan for creation.

You are all working very hard and effectively and are greatly honored for what you do. Do not think for a moment that what you are doing goes unseen or unrecognized, because, in truth, you are piling up an enormous quantity of honors and rewards with which you will be enthusiastically showered when you awaken. All is indeed very well, because you are carrying out your duties superbly– duties that you engaged in willingly and keenly.

What is Barack Obama’s karmic role in leading the U.S. at this time?

Barack Obama’s karmic contract is to be a leader for the world, not just a leader for the U.S. His legal contract is to lead the U.S, but his karmic contract is to be a leader for the world. His karmic contract is to be a catalyst for enlightening change in the world. A catalyst is a substance or an object that facilitates change. It does not make the change occur – instead, it initiates and enhances a process and that is precisely what his role is to be. In fact, his contract to be a catalyst for a certain process has already been accomplished. His initial contract was fulfilled during and just after his election campaign. The changes he was meant to facilitate occurred in the hearts and minds of people across the world.

With his initial karmic contract fulfilled, he is now working to support the changes that are only possible if they are created and upheld by the citizens of the world. A catalyst is a substance that causes or accelerates a chemical reaction, or a person that inspires an event or change to take place. A catalyst can signal a process to begin and it can enhance or speed up a process that is already underway. Barack Obama is doing both. He helped initiate a process and he is also helping to enhance or make more efficient a process that is already under way. The process is human empowerment, which is both a result of and the driving force for healing of the human family.

Barack Obama is not the only catalyst and he is not the only leader involved in this work. There are many other world leaders, both official and non-official, who do this work. The catalyst that he provides is unique. This role can be seen most clearly in what was fulfilled during his election campaign, where most of his karmic contract was fulfilled. The speeches that he gave and the particular way that he ran his campaign catalyzed a process inside millions of people across the world. The messages and actions that took place during his campaign initiated and activated a process within millions of individuals, and a process across many societies, by which human beings are becoming empowered enough to dismantle oppressive forces and create more light and love, effectually making the world a better place. (As you might imagine, this is the dramatically short version.)

In a sense, Barack Obama’s karmic contract was to be a catalyst for hope. Hope only works in the individuals who choose to carry it or act on it. The effects of his catalytic process were most outwardly apparent in the ways that people were activated to vote or to make changes in their communities. But the greatest actual effects occurred within people’s minds and hearts. The massive shift toward hope and empowerment cannot be measured but rest assured, the world is a more peaceful place and more people have moved forward in enlightenment based on the role he has played. Now, the work and the way forward are yours to determine.

Once Barack Obama entered the presidency, his role as a catalyst has been somewhat diminished because people have a tendency to cease their own empowerment when they turn to a powerful leader. This occurs because people, through the dynamics of oppression, have learned to turn their own authority over to their leaders. People in nearly every culture on the planet have learned to wait for their leaders to take decisive action, and in waiting each individual forfeits their own power to affect change.

Citizens in the U.S. have exhibited a tendency to imagine that once Barack Obama was in an official leadership position that he would take care of things. When you wait for your leaders to instruct you, or you sit back and blame others for their missteps, you lose track of your own power, and it becomes easy to lose faith in your own ability to create positive change in the world around you.

Remember that all of you have been oppressed in one way or another. It is not your fault that you have been oppressed, but it is your responsibility to actively choose to reassign your personal authority to yourself, to re-determine and revitalize yourselves to make positive changes in the world around you. This reclaiming of your personal power, and it’s collective potential, ultimately is the process that Barack Obama was meant to catalyze. His calling is to inspire all the citizens in the world into action. He will not make the world a better place through his actions; instead, he inspires all of you to make the world a better place.

As long as each of you is taking responsibility and doing what you can to improve the world within your sphere of influence, then you are using him positively as a catalyst. If people do not use his leadership role to further inspire and empower themselves into action, then the usefulness of his role will expire. It will no longer be useful for him to be in the role of a world leader officially if the role of catalyst is not being fulfilled. It is vitally important that all of you continue to remember that he is not here to make change, he is here to inspire you to make change. That is the role he came here to perform, that is the karmic contract that he signed up for. Most of this has been accomplished on his end of the contract. Greetings, Everyone!

As many of you know, we have felt some recent shifts… I’ve been puzzling over why things seemed to grind to a halt with the Athabantian Ground Crew (and perhaps you were wondering, too).

Of course, my move to Pagosa tossed many things up in the air, but I knew that there was more than that to the pause.

With the arrival of November, my personal experience has been to shift focus back to Inner Earth family, but this morning, I got a nudge that it’s also time to revive the Athabantian gathering, and see where we are.

So, if you’re a Crew member and happen to read this, please comment, and lets re-group!

Here is a brief message from Adrial:


We aboard Athabantian greet you once again, as we wish to advise you of recent efforts in collaboration with our dear friends and family within the various regions of Inner Earth. We have particularly been working with our Arcturian family as well… Some of you have already noticed these connections being made.

We see that many of you are already aware of the links established, the portals that have been opened, and the channels within your physical bodies which have been activated.

You will also continue to assemble recollections, and “missing pieces” may fall into place. Some of these insights may also induce feelings of shock, joy, grief, relief, and exhaustion. If you feel these, please go within and ask for guidance and soothing, and you will find these more readily than before.

Some of you have just connected some dots, and now you receive a more clear picture. Do you see better how we are all working together? And hopefully you may also understand better why some information has been withheld (and some will be withheld a but longer).

You may also perceive that even though things may seem to have been “quiet”, and your dreams and meditations may have felt dull and secreted away, you have all been hard at work.

We are reaching out to you now to thank and reassure you, and also to encourage you to re-connect, as you feel inclined, with those who were gathered earlier this year as Athabantian Ground Crew. As you compare notes, you will discover synchronicities and connections with our Crew in flight, as well as with one another.

Please recall your connections with the Crew list, and the affinities you felt, with their names and roles. These will come into focus for you more clearly now.

We have plenty of time, so please do not feel pressured. You have all been hard at work, and the information we will share soon will allow you to more profoundly integrate the work you have been doing “behind the scenes”, with your life during waking time.

We are asking Leslee to end with a quote from Heruka, who is a manifestation of Mikos. She will explain more. Please take these words to heart, and understand that we offer them because the time has come to sort the cards.

What difference does it make, whether We ‘land’, or ‘appear’?

The Work of Ascending is each individual’s to do. All We can offer are pointing instructions and Teachings. From there, one must go within to find, receive, realize and integrate Them.

It does not matter whether We teach you how to cleanse and purify the external environment of Gaia. If you have not done the Inner Work necessary for you to maintain your “vibration” or “virtue” at high enough levels, you will not remain here, regardless of Gaia’s condition.

Do you still feel you must compare yourself to your ‘neighbor’? Then you have inner work to do. Do you still feel there are ‘others’ in darkness? Then you still have inner work to do. Do you still concern yourself with your external conditions? Then you have inner work to do.

Please sit down, shut up, go within, and stop complaining. You are no better or worse than others. You simply have inner work to do.

Today we, the American people, take time to consciously intend our country's leadership. There is no doubt that there are many, many opinions about the best way to accomplish this. I am going to take this blessing's moment and remind you that no matter who you vote for today let the remembrance stay with you that the Original Spirit is Harmony. It is Beauty and Truth and everything that goes with Ultimate Reality. The Universe is not divided against Itself! Consciousness can separate from the One Mind, and the mentalities of men can create an atmosphere of fear, of doubt and uncertainty, but the pure Principle of Intelligence is forever aligned.



Our standard is one of perfection because we embody a willingness to let Spirit guides us. With this conscious knowledge we can go to the polls and create with intention that which has never been tried, thereby lifting the whole of us into the Law of Good. Let's know a new light is coming into the world today. Demand upon the One Intelligence that It answer you vote today.



We are on the borderland of a new experience, and it is in line with the evolution of the great Presence!

Here in the spiritual realms — at the level of consciousness that prevails outside your illusory realm — we continue to assist you in your awakening process, constantly. And I confirm that your awakening is divinely assured. Release your doubts about it and focus on your powerful inner knowing that this is so. Your long journey home is almost completed and a grand welcome awaits you. Until you arrive, maintain your course positively and lovingly, knowing that your arrival is imminent.

Life as way-showers and Light-holders is difficult because it seems that so few members of humanity are interested in the spiritual path that all, without exception, are following. Consequently, you often feel very alone. Nevertheless, every human is a spiritual being having a bodily experience, and that body, while essential for the journey, is very distracting because it appears to have so many needs that require instant attention. If you do not take time out daily — alone with yourself, in contemplation, meditation, or prayer — you cannot find any peace, and your life easily becomes a constant and seemingly never-ending rush to accomplish repetitive tasks that offer very little satisfaction. It becomes very grueling and wears you down. Joy and fun depart, to be replaced by reams of unrewarding chores that you are convinced you must complete.

Without some form of spiritual practice it is extremely difficult to cope with the strains and stresses that a human life seems to impose upon you. Because of your state of separation from one another, each of you has a very different perception of life’s meaning, and consequently you often observe others coping far better with its problems than you. But that is just your own personal perception, because in fact everyone experiences that same weird sense that others are coping better, are less stressed, and are getting more satisfaction from life than they are.

However, those who establish a spiritual practice – not necessarily a religious one – by taking time out quietly and alone each day do find themselves far less stressed than those who do not. Everyone needs to do this, and more of you are realizing this, taking the time, making the effort, and experiencing the reduced stress and increased peace that this provides. And having and maintaining a spiritual practice is part of the life path that every human has chosen to live. However, many do not become aware of that and remain totally captivated by the illusion and all its distractions, whether alluring or fearful, and they fail to establish this stabilizing and essential practice.

Way-showers and Light-holders, by their emotional stability and by their less judgmental way of relating to others, provide a demonstration of the value and benefits of maintaining a spiritual practice, which is really nothing more than establishing a relationship with your own deep presence. Mostly people are ruled by their egos and their emotions which rush about on the surface of their consciousness, disturbing the peace beneath. But when they find awareness of that deep inner presence rising into their consciousness, questions start to form in their minds about the sanity of the lives they have been living.

However, initially that seems only to create further stress and anxiety because it suggests that how they have been living has been without meaning or value. It is at these times in their lives that they start looking for someone with whom they can discuss these worrying realizations, and that is when the way-showers and Light-holders can be so helpful. Not by offering solutions or advice, but by listening very attentively as these anguished souls express their concerns, and in so doing, find that they already have the answers. They often have to do a lot of talking in order to uncover their hidden depths, and this demands great patience and restraint from their listeners.

As listeners you have a very holy vocation which can be quite demanding for you, because you too are living with the stresses and anxieties of the illusion pressing down on you in your daily lives, and so you too need to find and maintain your own balance, your own place of inner peace. Ask for help! Your guides and angels are always there with an intense willingness and desire to help you find peace, and they fully understand and respect the wonderful work you are doing by being compassionate and willing listeners.

Today, and every day, cherish those quiet times or moments, because they bring you the spiritual stability and strength to follow your paths and effectively assist all those who are seeking an inner meaning, a higher truth by which to live and relate to others and to the planet. You are doing great work even though you hardly ever get any real sense of it. This is because the vast proportion of it is done on inner or spiritual levels. When you feel at peace, satisfied that you are doing a reasonable job, that means that you are feeling the presence of those in the spiritual realms who are with you constantly to help you on your way.

When you do not feel that sense of peace and satisfaction, a deep faith that all is divinely taken care of and proceeding just as it should, it is a sign that you need to reconnect with that quiet space within because you have spent too long away from it. Allow yourselves the time and the space that you need to rejuvenate yourselves spiritually even when it means that you have to refuse to be available to others for a while. You owe it to yourselves and to them, because it empowers and fortifies your effectiveness in the tasks that you chose to undertake by incarnating at this point in humanity’s spiritual evolution: a period of immeasurable significance in the ongoing divine plan for creation.

You are all working very hard and effectively and are greatly honored for what you do. Do not think for a moment that what you are doing goes unseen or unrecognized, because, in truth, you are piling up an enormous quantity of honors and rewards with which you will be enthusiastically showered when you awaken. All is indeed very well, because you are carrying out your duties superbly– duties that you engaged in willingly and keenly.

What is Barack Obama’s karmic role in leading the U.S. at this time?

Barack Obama’s karmic contract is to be a leader for the world, not just a leader for the U.S. His legal contract is to lead the U.S, but his karmic contract is to be a leader for the world. His karmic contract is to be a catalyst for enlightening change in the world. A catalyst is a substance or an object that facilitates change. It does not make the change occur – instead, it initiates and enhances a process and that is precisely what his role is to be. In fact, his contract to be a catalyst for a certain process has already been accomplished. His initial contract was fulfilled during and just after his election campaign. The changes he was meant to facilitate occurred in the hearts and minds of people across the world.

With his initial karmic contract fulfilled, he is now working to support the changes that are only possible if they are created and upheld by the citizens of the world. A catalyst is a substance that causes or accelerates a chemical reaction, or a person that inspires an event or change to take place. A catalyst can signal a process to begin and it can enhance or speed up a process that is already underway. Barack Obama is doing both. He helped initiate a process and he is also helping to enhance or make more efficient a process that is already under way. The process is human empowerment, which is both a result of and the driving force for healing of the human family.

Barack Obama is not the only catalyst and he is not the only leader involved in this work. There are many other world leaders, both official and non-official, who do this work. The catalyst that he provides is unique. This role can be seen most clearly in what was fulfilled during his election campaign, where most of his karmic contract was fulfilled. The speeches that he gave and the particular way that he ran his campaign catalyzed a process inside millions of people across the world. The messages and actions that took place during his campaign initiated and activated a process within millions of individuals, and a process across many societies, by which human beings are becoming empowered enough to dismantle oppressive forces and create more light and love, effectually making the world a better place. (As you might imagine, this is the dramatically short version.)

In a sense, Barack Obama’s karmic contract was to be a catalyst for hope. Hope only works in the individuals who choose to carry it or act on it. The effects of his catalytic process were most outwardly apparent in the ways that people were activated to vote or to make changes in their communities. But the greatest actual effects occurred within people’s minds and hearts. The massive shift toward hope and empowerment cannot be measured but rest assured, the world is a more peaceful place and more people have moved forward in enlightenment based on the role he has played. Now, the work and the way forward are yours to determine.

Once Barack Obama entered the presidency, his role as a catalyst has been somewhat diminished because people have a tendency to cease their own empowerment when they turn to a powerful leader. This occurs because people, through the dynamics of oppression, have learned to turn their own authority over to their leaders. People in nearly every culture on the planet have learned to wait for their leaders to take decisive action, and in waiting each individual forfeits their own power to affect change.

Citizens in the U.S. have exhibited a tendency to imagine that once Barack Obama was in an official leadership position that he would take care of things. When you wait for your leaders to instruct you, or you sit back and blame others for their missteps, you lose track of your own power, and it becomes easy to lose faith in your own ability to create positive change in the world around you.

Remember that all of you have been oppressed in one way or another. It is not your fault that you have been oppressed, but it is your responsibility to actively choose to reassign your personal authority to yourself, to re-determine and revitalize yourselves to make positive changes in the world around you. This reclaiming of your personal power, and it’s collective potential, ultimately is the process that Barack Obama was meant to catalyze. His calling is to inspire all the citizens in the world into action. He will not make the world a better place through his actions; instead, he inspires all of you to make the world a better place.

As long as each of you is taking responsibility and doing what you can to improve the world within your sphere of influence, then you are using him positively as a catalyst. If people do not use his leadership role to further inspire and empower themselves into action, then the usefulness of his role will expire. It will no longer be useful for him to be in the role of a world leader officially if the role of catalyst is not being fulfilled. It is vitally important that all of you continue to remember that he is not here to make change, he is here to inspire you to make change. That is the role he came here to perform, that is the karmic contract that he signed up for. Most of this has been accomplished on his end of the contract. Of course as a president he has legal and societal contracts to fulfill, but outcome of his karmic contract now depends upon you.
