    Shattered Reality!
A paranormal podcast with your hosts Kate Valentine and Fahrusha

Calvin Parker abductee and author of Pascagoula: The Closest Encounter, My Story, Calvin Parker

    GO HERE TO LISTEN:
    http://www.atlanticcoastufos.com/SHATTERED//7-31-2018.mp3

"Kate Valentine and Fahrusha welcome Calvin Parker, the gentleman who was abducted with the late Charles Hickson by unknown beings in Pascagoula Mississippi. With us also was Terry Lovelace, a very informed abductee and previous guest, to ask some additional questions. We are very happy Calvin has come forward with his experience, especially since Charles Hickson has passed away. Now we have another voice out here to explain what transpired in Pascagoula in 1973.

The incident was a rather straightforward and classic abduction scenario, but nonetheless fascinating. In his book Calvin also details what he went through after the abduction and the steps he took to try and understand what exactly the reality of these beings and their craft were. No one can ever know what someone else has experienced, but I believe Calvin and Terry are giving their accounts as truthfully as possible. We can learn something about the nature of our place in the Universe from reading their books. We need to be constantly reminded that humans see only a fraction of the electromagnetic bandwidth around us."

Errata: At the beginning of the podcast, Fahrusha said “Calvin” when referring to Travis Walton, who she refers to as having given an address at the MUFON symposium on July 29, 2018. The correct addresses for our websites are: https://shatteredrealitypodcast.wordpress.com and http://shatteredrealitypodcast.com.

Putin selects Steven Seagal as specialist Kremlin diplomat to US

Putin has announced he hoped Seagal’s appointment would serve as a symbol of improving relations between Moscow and Washington.

The 66-year-old Under Siege star has been a Russian citizen since 2016, with the president personally gifting the star his new dual citizenship passport at a ceremony in Moscow.

The two men are said to have bonded over a a mutual love of martial arts, and displeasure at the way in which Russia is portrayed in the West.

According to The Washington Post, Seagal once described Putin as “one of the greatest world leaders if not the greatest world leader alive today”.

In an interview on Good Morning Britain last September, the actor, who also supported Donald Trump’s successful bid for the White House, defended the two presidents against claims they had colluded.

“For anyone to think Vladimir Putin had anything to do with fixing the elections, or even that the Russians have that kind of technology, is stupid,” the Today You Die leading man said.

He called the notion of Russian interference “propaganda” and a “diversion” to the American people.

The actor, who has previously claimed to have worked for the CIA fighting the Yakuza, and who believes he’s a reincarnated 17th-century Tibetan monk, will not be paid for the Russian role.

The Foreign ministry described it as “folk diplomacy meets diplomacy traditional”.

Kremlin-backed Russian television station RT, reported Seagal as saying: “I’ve always had a very strong desire to do all I can to help improve Russian-American relations. I have worked tirelessly in this direction for many years unofficially and I am now very grateful for the opportunity to do the same thing officially.”

The Belly of the Beast star was last year banned from entering Ukraine after voicing support for the annexation of Crimea."

Rob Larson - Capitalism Vs Freedom: The Toll Road to Serfdom

    LegaliseFreedom1

Rob Larson discusses his book 'Capitalism Vs. Freedom – The Toll Road to Serfdom'. For years, we’ve been taught that capitalism is good for freedom. Dominant right-wing commentators claim that markets free us, and this view still dominates education and politics. However, in 'Capitalism vs. Freedom', Larson puts big business under a microscope, debunking libertarian economics while demonstrating that the marketplace has its own great centres of power, which the libertarian tradition itself claims is a limit to freedom. Larson illustrates how capitalism fails both this and other concepts of human liberty, not just failing to establish a right to a share of society’s production, but also leaving us subject to the power plays of political and corporate elites which are increasingly becoming one and the same.

That global economic, political, social, and environmental systems are disintegrating is scarcely in doubt. Inequality is on the rise as resources are concentrated in fewer and fewer hands. Even in the West, children now born can expect to be poorer than their parents. The era of ever-increasing prosperity is coming to an end. Conventional energy sources are running out while renewables fail to plug the gap. Climate change is making vast swathes of the Earth – such as the Middle East – increasingly uninhabitable for millions who have two choices – move somewhere else or die. Mass migration continues to drive social conflict. Fundamentalism is resurgent. Donald Trump and Brexit are just two of the most obvious signs of cascading collapse. The kaleidoscope has been shaken, the pieces are in flux, a new world is coming. The question simply remains – what, if anything, can we do about it?

    Star War ...

Trump’s star voted off Hollywood Walk of Fame

    By Mark Moore

    August 7, 2018

"The marker has been pummeled by a pickax and a sledgehammer, but now the West Hollywood City Council has voted to remove President Trump’s star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The panel unanimously approved a resolution urging the Los Angeles City Council and Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to remove the star, Mayor John Duran announced in a tweet late Monday.

The council will send a formal letter to Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, the Los Angeles City Council and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to consider removing it.

But, according to a statement from the chamber, it’s unlikely it will act.

“The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk,” said Leron Gubler, the organization’s president and CEO.

Council members John D’Amico and Lindsey Horvath introduced the resolution to remove Trump’s star, which was awarded to him in 2007 for his work on the Miss Universe Pageant, because of his “disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country.”

“Having a ‘star’ on the Walk of Fame is a privilege that is highly sought after by those in the entertainment industry, allowing Mr. Trump to continue to have a star in light of his behavior toward women, particularly in the #timesup and #metoo movements, should not be acceptable in the Hollywood and entertainment industry communities,” the resolution said.

Because the Walk of Fame, which holds 2,500 stars, is the property of the City of Los Angeles, the city has the final decision.

Trump’s marker has taken a beating.

A man attacked it with a sledgehammer a month before the 2016 election, and last month a protester took a pickax to it."

Old Aerosmith van found in small New England town ...

"Four decades ago, before Aerosmith was selling out stadiums, the band was traveling New England and trying to become a household name. The band members rode in a funky 1964 International Harvester Metro van with a cartoon man and "Aerosmith" painted in bright colors across the side. Decades later, the dated yet iconic van has been found, and the people who located it know a thing or two about nostalgic vehicles.

The hosts of History Channel's "American Pickers" say the van had spent years in the woods of a small Massachusetts town after being abandoned in the 1970s. In an episode of the show that aired July 30, hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz visit Chesterfield, a town about 100 miles west of Boston, to inquire about the van.

The pickers find the dilapidated vehicle with the tires flat, the door missing and the paint rusting off. Still, Wolfe and Fritz, who search the country for valuable pieces of American nostalgia like cars and toys, were willing to pay a pretty penny for the rundown van. Wolfe says it's "a piece of American rock and roll history."

The International Harvester Metro sat near a house, and the property owner, identified only by Phil, said it was on the land when he purchased it. "This guy is deep in the woods, he's off the grid, and I keep thinking to myself, 'what the heck would this van be doing here?'" Wolfe wonders as he and Fritz see the van for the first time. The tale of the van has not been confirmed by CBS News, and it is unclear when Aerosmith abandoned it or why.

Knowing members of Aerosmith were Massachusetts natives, Wolfe and Fritz thought they could connect the dots to prove the van was authentic.

To verify it, they tracked down Ray Tabano, a founding member of Aerosmith, who was in nearby Stockbridge at the time. Tabano was able confirm that their find was indeed the original Aerosmith van.

When he arrived, Tabano reminisced about what he called the "rolling hotel" that transported the band between local shows. "I just flashed back to when we started the band," he said after laying eyes on the van for the first time in more than four decades.

"This is it, baby," the rocker exclaimed when he took a look inside of van, recognizing the carpet on the ceiling falling off, just as it was back in the day. He shared an old photo of himself in the van, and recreated the image on "American Pickers."

Tabano, who played in the band from 1970 to around 1972, said the van reminded him of "humble beginnings."

The owner, Phil, was willing to part with the van — for a price. "American Pickers" paid him a whopping $25,000 to own a bit of rock n' roll nostalgia."
