I once had a Muslim try to talk me into moving to Saudi Arabia with him. He said I could pass with a good tan. lol

I left a job once because they forced us to attend a mandatory Muslim sensitivity training for our clients (we did not have any Muslim clients). The woman was ridiculous in the way that she over-emphasized pulling her scarf over her head. She extolled the virtues of not having to stress by bowing to social norms. No muss, no fuss. Easy enough.

Both the man and woman were shocked when I noted that the man was stunningly gorgeous, and that if keeping people from lusting after them was their goal, they were sort of forgetting that their men are hot.

The final straw was when the woman said how strongly she identified with being Muslim: "Just like the homosexual wakes up and the first thing they identify with is being a homosexual, the first thing that comes to my mind is that I am Muslim".



I shouted out, "That is not true".

I got in trouble because I spoke without framing it in the form of a question.

I told them to stick it.

Oh: when they passed around the Koran, I did not give it a second glance. I looked the man in the eye, passed the book down the line, then wiped the hand that touched the Koran on the bottom of my shoe.
