    Questions About The Cathars

Post  SuiGeneris on Thu Apr 15, 2010 8:27 am

I've got more questions than answers on who these people were (and are IMO) and wonder if anyone here has any insights or info they might like to discuss, researchers or better still experiencers they might like to share?

Some think the crusades were about destroying the original message of "Jesus " held by these people in a scroll. Some call it the book of love, some say it was a document stating life on earth was illusion and 3d reality and materialism was a trap.
Obviously a BIG threat for the Catholics, enough to slaughter the Cathars, one and all. ( or so they thought )
Further on and in, if this goes anywhere, it does relate to Avalon itself, vortex energy and the building of sacred sites like Stonehenge etc.

( I wouldn't be here if I wasn't somewhat mistified so excuse my vague and somewhat rambling introduction)

I'll say/ ask more later if there is any interest. Just kicking it off...

I have a lot of theories about the Cathars. I don't believe the Templars were about destroying the Book of Love - I think it was about preserving it. I have summized that the Templars had an order within an order. I do believe that as an order they kept their enemy close (i.e. the Catholic Church) and operated under their authority so that they could indeed operate - all the while carrying out their own agendas of good for mankind. We've got to remember that the Catholic Church was the bed of corruption and the Templars had to seemingly be in bed with them in order to secretly put forth their own agendas. I think there were good and bad/greedy Templars.

What does all this have to do with the Cathars - well, it is thought, and I've read a lot on this, that they indeed secured the documents/book from the Cathars before the final 200 were burned to death at Montsegur and carried it to safety. Where they ended up eventually, there is only speculation as to what happened then. It is speculation on my part when I say that I believe the Templars themselves were infiltrated at some point and corrupted....as was the Masonic Order. Even if the NWO could be at the top of this organization now, they allow the minions below them to carry on the original Masonic creed, that of making good men better. This allows their cover not to be blown. They couldn't outwardly take over every living soul in the Masonic Order....too much exposure.

I'm not a fan of long posts (too much to absorb at once) so I will stop now but there is more with reference to the Cathars that I have an opinion on but will save it for another time.

    Thanks for that Siriarc, I was actually busy watching every thing I could from William Henry and missed your response. I might actually BUY some of his books. Would you recommend that one in particular, he has a LOT out there. I really had some AH HA moments listening to his coast to coast interview here, this is part three where is it gets a bit more juicy;
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35AuCoy-WjA&feature=related

I especially had the tingle of truth when he was talking about how the Cathars believed in a sort of light body ascension depicted in their diagrams ( the book of love?) that influenced Heironymous Bosch in his art. Bosch's art is mind boggling. There are some great images throughout the interview but one of my favourites is a detail from a Bosch painting of a guy in a tube of stars/light? at around 7 minutes in on the above link. I think the whole interview is worth a listen and some stunning art as well. I love the picture of Jesus as a light body

My interest is somewhat personal from being pretty sure I was toasted by the catholics and that as the veil of forgetting thins it's getting rather interesting.

Strangely enough we had a knock on the door asking my partner to come and do music in that region this summer, and I have been waiting to see if something would turn up to pull me there once again.

I have always felt a shudder from being in buildings that remind me of that time.
So many layers to our existence.

William Henry is one of my Facebook friends. You can follow him here and also become a friend/fan. If this link doesn't work, you can find him on FB easy enough. Looks like he has an upcoming conference with James Gilliland.

Thanks Bobbie, Gilliland is very interesting as well. I really like William Henry's enthusiasm . I wonder what one of his Egyptian excursions would be like?

I was thinking of trying to make it to Gilliland's ranch this spring but jeeze, I don't much feel like going through the invasion of the bodyscanners flying to the states from Blighty. I can't believe people put up with that.

You could always opt out for the full body cavity search. That's what I'm going for. Maybe they'll get so grossed out they'll just let me on through.

I wanted to go to Gilliland's this year also and wouldn't be that much of a trek but we'll probably end up going to Florida instead this spring....but there's always the autumn.

The book Voyagers II in page 316 says: "...In 1244 AD the Cathars, Maji Grail King families of southern France were destroyed by the Omicron-Drakonian held Church of Rome in teh Albigensian Crusade."

From that one can deduce that they had the Kathara teachings which are about ascension and healing the DNA template

We'll stop them in their tracks one way or the other. Beans are a good start. That's probably exactly what my husband would think of. What is it with you guys and the love of gas?

Wow, that is so interesting. Seems the parts of history that are the most silent are where the best mysteries of truth are kept. There is so little on the Cathars but it would make sense that their belief system would be the Kathara teachings (don't know much about that but am interested to find out). Just look how similar the name is. Usually things don't have that similarity without there being some connection.

Thanks for introducing this to me. I will be busy trying to connect the dots on this one.

I've always had a feeling that the Catholicism practiced in New Orleans is so different from other Catholic practices around the world and that the reason might be that the Cathars that escaped the slaughter eventually migrated to the new world. By this time, all those years that they had to pretend to be Catholics eventually became a part of their traditions, all the while maintaining the occult or heretic base. Mix Catholicism and Cathar teachings and you just might end up with a New Orleans Catholic. Just my own mental ramblings though - nothing to confirm it that I've found but then I haven't looked very hard either.

Thanks SuiG for transferring our posts from the old forum. I hadn't even thought to do it since I haven't really written all that much.

Can you provide links to support your assertion? I'm sure there is quite a bit written about it but I've read nothing that supports the thesis you have suggested. Certainly they were a threat to the church but they were also a thorn in the side of the centralized authority of the French throne and presented a pluckable plum to the French nobility and throne. Without the full support of the French Languedoc and the Good Christians would not have been susceptible to the ire of the Catholic Church. Of course, in a general sense, the church was in the business of destroying ANY unauthorized message and if it profited the bishops so much the better.
